WHAT'S IN A NAME
What is 1116? This is the first question people ask about our church. Is it our service time or some verse in the bible? The answer is actually simple--it's the street number where we corporately gather to worship. So we're the church that meets at 1116 Fury's Ferry Road, Evans, Georgia. Churches, gathering of believers, were identified this way in bible: church's named by their region (1 Corinthians 1:2; Galatians 1:2; 1 Thessalonians 1:1) and church's named by the house they meet in (1 Corinthians 16:9; Romans 16:5; Colossians 4:15; Philemon 1:2).

CORE VALUES
Core Values are what make up the DNA of our church. It's something that exist in the very nature of who we are. We all have different dreams and aspirations for our lives; but when we value what God values, the church can be unified to live out a God D.R.E.A.M. to reach our world.

Diversity: we are a multi-ethnic and multi-generational church, unified because of the gospel of Jesus.
Because we're a non-denominational our church made up of people from different backgrounds. We believe diversity is beautiful and biblical, because all people matter to God.
See 1 Corinthians 12:12-13; Romans 12:4-5; Revelation 7:9-10

Relationships: we are a family building lasting relationships beyond our Sunday gathering.
God made us for connection, and those connections give us strength, perspective, and purpose. We believe people matter more than programming--in that--church is more than an event you attend, it is a family of people who have a relationship with Jesus and pursue connections with the one another.
See Romans 12:5; Ecclesiastes 4:9-12; Hebrews 10:23-25

Equipping: we are committed to preaching and teaching the Word of God, and helping others grow in their calling and giftedness.
The mission is so much greater than the one person on teaching stage. God's Word changes lives and it gives opportunity for anyone to get involved in the mission of God. We empower humble teachers with a teachable spirit to go and impact their world for the glory of God.
See Ephesians 4:11-16; 2 Timothy 2:1-2; 3:16; Titus 3:3-5

Authenticity: we are broken people that get to experience the real grace of God.
It's hard to find real transparency in our world because of the fear rejection, judgement, or vulnerability. The lack of authenticity is the death of real connection—to God, the church, and the world. We are a community of imperfect people who worship a perfect God; knowing that there is always grace to meet us where we are, but doesn't leave us there.
See Romans 3:23; Ephesians 2:1-9; 1 John 1:7

Missions: we will serve others and tell the world about Jesus.
We are passionate about missions, but many don’t know how to connect the idea of missions to a reality. Jesus always meet physical needs before meeting their spiritual need; so we ask the simple question, "How can I help?" first. Those acts of service open opportunities to share Jesus’ story right where God has you.
See Ephesians 2:10; 6:19-20; 2 Corinthians 5:18-20
