WE LOVE GOD
Jesus commands, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind,” (Matthew 22:37). To love God is to know and follow Him, but how? Well, even though we can't know God exhaustively, we can know Him accurately. The primary way He has chosen to reveal Himself is through His Word (i.e., the traditional canon of Scripture which is the Christian Bible). This is the standard from which we build our beliefs and love for the One True God. We encourage you to be like the Bereans (Acts 17:11) and investigate our church’s doctrinal statement for yourself.

WE LOVE THE CHURCH
Because we love God, we also love His Church (Matthew 22:39; John 13:34-35). His Church is universal and made up of millions of people who gather in different places worldwide. Even locally you can find many wonderful churches to attend, so how do you choose a place to worship, grow in your faith, and be on mission? We invite you to seek the Lord’s guidance in this. Whether He leads you to Eleven Sixteen Church or not, we rejoice because God will faithfully grow His Church in numbers and in faith (1 Corinthians 3:5-9).

WE HAVE DISTINCTIVES
The Church embodies a dynamic paradox that is a testament to both unity and diversity. We are united by a common faith and devotion to Christ, while still embracing a myriad of worship styles, cultural expressions, and traditions. This is how we learn from one another and meet various needs in our communities (1 Corinthians 12:12-13; Ephesians 4:16). We wanted to share with you some reasons Eleven Sixteen Church is unique and exists in a community.
